Detailed Product Description

The selection La Cortese was born in the province of Cuneo, in Langhe area, in the historic home of the great Cru Moscato D'Asti. There are steep hills with land rich fossil marine, exposure to sunlight with a microclimate ideal that allows a grape production of high quality, for all grape grown in the area. The property of the family farm, enjoy particularly favourable, extend to 17 hectares, largely with dazzling moscato, but also Barbera, Dolcetto and Chardonnay. Respect for the environment is essential, no use of pesticides, minimizing the treatments and leaving vineyards maintained with the grass The products are in limited quantities to get the highest quality. This is the third generation of a family viticulturists that began in the Cascina, with the same love for the Vineyard and a passionate and competent care.

Moscato DAsti DOCG

White sweet wine with an inviting straw color.  Perfume is intense and persistent with flower. Taste sweet and aromatic with great harmony. This sweet wine fits for parties. Excellent pairing for petit four and tea biscuits, fruit cakes. It has to be serves fresh at a temperature of 8-10°C

Langhe Chardonnay DOC

White wine with a straw color; with greenish glares. Perfume is fine and intense scent remembers pleasantly the fruit. The taste is well-rounded, well balanced the acidity, with a slight bitter almond finish.

Good as aperitif, for white fish dishes, served with delicate sauces.

White wine with a straw color; with greenish glares. Perfume is fine, intense scent remembers pleasantly the fruit. The taste is well-rounded, well balanced the acidity, with a slight bitter almond finish.

Good as aperitif, for white fish dishes, served with delicate sauces. Suitable also for a snack with delicatessen and light cheeses

Dolcetto dAlba - DOC

Red wine with a particular deep ruby red colour with lively purple reflections, after an ageing period it tends to garnet red.

It has a fruity aroma, with clear under wood fragrances. Spicy and with a full, warm and soft taste, in the aftertaste comes up e slightly almond end, sometimes underlined by lively tannin. Good mate for first dishes with meat sauce. Excellent with white and red meats, medium seasoned cheeses and the typical Italian pasta and beans.

Barbera dAlba - DOC

Red wine with a clear austere character and a gentle heart because of its harmonious sour balance. After a maceration of at least ten days and following malo lactic fermentation it rest for some months in steel and wood tanks. Perfume very intense and complex, with violet of underbrush, raspberries. Taste dry, well-bodied, sapid. Good mate for flavoured second dishes, red meats, game, medium seasoned cheeses at the end of meals.

Barbera DAsti Barrique - DOC

Red wine with a clear austere character and a gentle heart because of its harmonious sour balance. After a maceration of at least ten days and following malo lactic fermentation it rest for some months in steel tanks and in oak barrel of 225 l (barrique) for more than twelve months. The bouquet weaving of mellow vanilla. Taste full and structured. Good mate with red meats, seasoned cheeses.

Langhe Nebbiolo Sura La Posta DOC

Red wine ruby red colour small highlights the young age, The ageing of about six months in barrique completes the refinement. The ruby red colour with garnet red reflection confirms the barrique ageing. Is young nuance, offer its scented fragrances, its freshness masked by the austere persistence.Taste dry, sapid with good body. Good mate for flavored first dishes with meat.

Passito di Moscato Piemonte DOC

White wine with an amber yellow colour, wide fragrances of ripe fruits, candied fruit, spices. With one year in barrique we obtain an harmonious full taste with a persistent sweet note toned down by a sourness well blended.

With this wine one can meditate during the day. Ideal also to be the crowning end of a meal

This is the only distilled spirit which allows even the amateur to taste the original Muscat fragrance. It is a soft aromatic spirit distilled using discontinuous alembic. It is a perfect way to finish a meal as an excellent digestive drink. To be Served, at room temperature.
